What we offer allows you to experience The Catlins for yourself, at your own pace and in a comfortable, safe and environmentally sustainable cottage, fully equipped with bedding, cooking and eating utensils.


Each cottage is self-contained and private, they are located on the edge of our 8 hectare native forest reserve at Mohua Park, Tawanui, The Catlins.


Enjoy a holiday knowing that you are being careful with the environment. To be as environmentally sustainable accommodation as possible we have provided the cottages with solar water heating, double glazing and extra insulation. The perfect holiday home or eco-friendly accommodation for honeymoon, writers retreat or artists residence in The Catlins.


Mohua Park eco cottages are designed for two people, but pull down divans in the living area allow up to four people in a cottage with a curtain room divider.The Mohua Park eco cottages are TV and phone-free zones of peace and quiet, they provide stunning self catering accommodation retreats in the heart of the Catlins. All the cottages have views out and down to the valley, forest and farmland.
